In order to implement most efficiently our proposed initiatives 1-8, we recommend the creation of a small, centralized global team that is focused exclusively on AIESEC alumni affairs.

For maximum synergies and alignment, we believe this team should work under the joint supervision of AAI and AI, effectively combining the current separate alumni efforts of each.  So rather than seeking cooperation between the two organizations’ alumni support operations, they would work as a single unit, all while maintaining independent governance of AAI and AI.

Moreover, separately from this Joint Alumni Global Support Center (JAGSC), and in order to facilitate further synergies over time between AI and AAI, we believe it would be beneficial to have non-binding AIESEC Supervisory Group oversight over AAI, which would also provide AAI with a voice in the oversight of AIESEC.

We outline these proposals in the attached document.  We encourage you to ask questions and offer your feedback, and we look forward to discussing this soon with AAIM attendees in Budapest.
