Tatiana Mykhailyuk, President of AIESEC International, has asked the global AIESEC alumni community to come to the aid of AIESEC Bosnia and Herzegovina MCVP Irma Bejdic.
Irma lost her right arm and suffered severe head injuries in August of last year in the terrible accident of the Study Tour bus following IC in Kenya that also, tragically, took the life of AIESEC Bolivia MCP Elmer Pérez Requiz. Since then, Irma has undergone several plastic surgeries, and her recovery has been slow.
Irma’s medical expenses to date of 200,000 Euros have been covered by insurance, various ministries in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and her parents. However, Irma needs an additional 150,000 Euros for the next phases of her treatment, which include facial reconstruction and an artificial arm.
Let’s show how AIESEC alumni can come to the aid of a fellow AIESECer by each of us sending 5 Euros or more in support of Irma!
